The Bachir Gemayel Foundation is a dynamic organization dedicated to preserving the legacy of the late Lebanese President Bachir Gemayel and advancing the values of Dignity, Freedom, and Truth in Lebanon. By focusing on three core development pillars - Community Education, Civic Responsibility, and Social Activism - the foundation strives to empower individuals, promote social cohesion, and contribute to the overall growth and progress of Lebanon.
Bachir Gemayel was and still is a very highly respected political figure who played a significant role in Lebanon's history. As the President-elect of Lebanon in 1982, he advocated for national unity, democratic principles, and social justice. Tragically, he was assassinated before assuming office. The Bachir Gemayel Foundation was established to commemorate his life, work, and ideals, serving as a platform to continue his vision for a prosperous and inclusive Lebanon.
The foundation envisions a society where every individual is treated with dignity, enjoys freedom, and upholds truth as a core value. Its mission is to promote the principles championed by Bachir Gemayel through targeted programs and initiatives that foster community education, encourage civic responsibility, and inspire social activism.
